Velvet is one of the winter fabrics that I enjoy wearing the most because it looks very classic and luxurious. That’s why when I saw this beautiful yellow velvet dress I fell in love. This dress is from an online store called Navabi, they contacted me and sent me a few things, and I could not be happier. They have amazing high-quality modern plus size clothing from different brands and designers.
The velvet dress that I’m wearing is very beautiful, flattering and versatile. You can wear it during the day or at night depending on the accessories you wear. Now, let’s talk about the fit. I’m a true size 2X and it fits me perfect so if you’re interested in this dress I would recommend buying your true size. If you don’t know which size you are I recommend you follow the sizing chart following the inches, it’s very helpful and accurate!
I’ve combined the dress with a leopard print coat that is also from Navabi. Fits very comfortable (great for layers) and is very warm. I love the length is not too long, usually, coats are way too long on me because I’m only 5’3. I also added a pop of red with this lipstick because I love how it looks with the yellow and the leopard print, it’s a great way to be festive without wearing everything red or green.

For shoes, I decided to wear a pair of black booties because it wasn’t snowing (that day) but I’m pretty sure in February I won’t be able to wear these because I fall everywhere! lol and in that case, I would wear the dress with some flat combat boots and black tights but for now, I can still get away with these.
