Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Macy’s. #sponsored #TommyHilfiger #macyslove #macysplusHello everyone! I recently went to Newport here in Rhode Island for a casual stroll during the day with my love. The temperature was between 70 and 75 degrees so it was perfect to walk around, enjoy nature and visit different places.
I first visited the Castle Hill Lighthouse which is steps away from the hotel Castle Hill Inn and fell in love with the view, it was windy but the view was beautiful. Then, I went near Fort Adams to walk around the park and take pictures of the view and my outfit. I didn’t know what to wear because the weather here in Rhode Island changes a lot. One day is sunny and the next day is pouring rain. For those days when the weather is unexpected, I have already a few outfits that I know make me feel comfortable and confident. We all have that go-to outfit that makes us feel comfortable and looks put together and mine is a polo dress.I’m partnering with Macy’s in this post to show you how I style my favorite casual dress, this Tommy Hilfiger Polo Dress. This dress is navy blue and has white polka dots, perfect for the day. I must confess I’ve been wearing it every week. It’s so comfortable and classic, I love it!
When it comes to style the dress, I prefer to add classic accessories to have a more feminine look. That’s why I’m combining the dress with a nautical silk scarf as a turban headband, red sunglasses and, white espadrilles. To have a more summery look I’m using a beautiful straw bag that I bought in a thrift store for only $5, Can you believe? I like that has nautical accents, perfect for this casual summer look.
For reference, I always wear 2x and in this case is no exception. I’m wearing the size 2x which means fits true to size. The dress has a pullover style and is knee length, my preference to maintain an elevated look.
What I like most about this Tommy Hilfiger Polo Dress is that I can use it with confidence. It is comfortable, casual and classic. As new from England, the classic style and the red/white/blue color scheme are essential during the summer and I think that’s why I love this dress so much.
