Finding the perfect maxi dress when you’re 5’3 it’s a struggle. Most of the time I find myself altering dresses to achieve the “perfect length”. But what’s the perfect length in a maxi dress? Well, for me is when I can see my toes and walk without tripping. The perfect maxi dress to me is pretty to the eye but also functional. If I can’t walk in the dress why would I buy it? On the other hand, when I find a maxi dress that looks beautiful and has a good length, I don’t waste time, I buy it. And if I love it that much I will have the same dress in a few colors, Can you relate?
I recently saw this dress from the Who What Wear Collection at target and fell in love. Is simple, comfortable and has the perfect length. They had the dress in two colors, green and blue, so I bought both and couldn’t be happier.
Now, Let’s talk about sizing. I’m usually a size 2x in plus, but had to buy the XXL in regular because the plus was sold out. With that being said, I’m actually glad I chose this size because fits me perfectly. I would say if you are in between sizes I suggest you go with the smaller size. The length is perfect for us short gals (I’m only 5’3 ) because it looks on us like a maxi dress should. If you are tall, I think it would look like a midi dress which still really cute for summer. 
What I love the most about this dress is that is super comfy and how it moves when I walk, it’s beautiful. I wore the green dress with emerald “marble” earrings, sandals and a little straw bag to complete the summer look.
In my opinion, this type of dress looks great on everyone! If you are iffy about buying the dress, buy it. You will thank me later!
