Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Spring is almost here and I couldn’t be more excited! I feel this winter has been the longest winter ever. The weather has been crazy; some days are sunny and beautiful but others are super windy, snowy and cold. And don’t get me wrong I like cooler weather but the problem is that my skin is the one that pays the price with weather changes. I have combination to oily skin which means that some parts of my face are more oily. That’s why for the most part, I use Oil-free products because they tend to work really well on my skin but right now is very cold here in Rhode Island and you guys know what that means…yes my skin is very dry. So, A few weeks ago I was on Instagram telling you guys that my skin was super dry and when I applied makeup my skin looked terrible. That’s why I decided to try different skincare products to find an affordable alternative that would work great all the time no matter the season that way I don’t have to spend so much money when the season changes.

After a few hit and misses, I finally found what works for me, yay! I notice a huge difference when I put in practice my good old skincare habits. Now my skin feels softer, radiant and I was surprised to see how little changes here and there can make a huge difference in our skin.

That’s why today I wanted to share those skincare practices that made me feel fabulous. So, let the list begin!#1 The CleanserNeutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment I believe the problem I had was that I was using the wrong face wash. When I changed the product, my skin went from 0 to 10. That’s why I recommend you to use a cleanser that is specifically for the type of skin that you have. I changed my cleanser to the Neutrogena® Fresh Foaming Cleanser and I couldn’t be happier. The foaming cleanser is oil free which is what my skin needs and leaves my face clean but also soft because is a gentle cleanser which is very important. I love that is a two in one and you can also use it to remove your makeup which is fantastic. Plus: Is very affordable and accessible, I buy mine at Walmart. Recommended!

#2 Light Therapy At Home!Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Neutrogena Acne Spot TreatmentNeutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Recently I bought at Walmart the Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment and I literally have never being more excited to try a beauty product. I was excited because I have always had acne in my jaw line and couldn’t find something that helped my skin in that particular area of my face. I love the concept and that is very easy to use. Following the instructions with a clean face you just have to place it over the skin and press the power button for 2 seconds, this will activate the treatment for 2 minutes and that’s it. Is a UV free treatment, safe for skin and eyes-emits no UV light and is very lightweight, that’s why I was very insterested to try it out.

I bought the Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment because I have less serious acne prone skin but if you have acne prone skin you can also purchase Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Mask. I think this is a very convenient idea because we all know that visiting a Dermatologist office can be very expensive ($500 per treatment) so knowing that now you can have the clinically proven light therapy at home for about .50¢ a day with the Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment and the Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Mask is amazing. Feeling fabulous in our skin is important and I’m glad we now have these alternatives to use at home. They have clinically proven results in as little as 1 week with results improving over time. And also has a dual mode of action: Blue light kills 99% acne-causing bacteria & red light reduces acne inflammation.Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment You can purchase these products at Walmart. There are some stickered products for $10 off. Start Date: In store February – End Date: IRCs expire 12/31/18

#3 Exfoliation, exfoliation, exfoliation and more exfoliation!I love shaving my face. I know, I know that sounds “weird” but  using face and eyebrow hair remover razors will not only get rid of those unwanted hairs but also will  leave your face super soft eliminating the dry skin. Sometimes we don’t see it but is there and I didn’t notice it until I stopped using the razor. That’s why, is one of my beauty must haves. If you haven’t tried it, try it out. Believe, me you’ll love it.

#4 Moisturizer 101

In order to have soft fabulous skin, you need to drink a lot of water and moisturize in the morning but also at night. If you are like me and you forget to apply moisturizer at night, I recommend applying all your creams right after you get out of the shower because the skin will absorb the product better and also you won’t have to think about applying the creams and moisturizer right before you want to sleep.

#5 With Makeup? No.Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment neautrogenaDo remove your makeup – Don’t sleep with it. I can be super tired but I would never sleep with makeup. I have to remove my makeup because if I don’t, the next day my skin is paying the price and that’s a big No, No. I recommend to use the Neutrogena® Cleansing Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes they are affordable, gentle and with only one towelette, I can remove a full face of makeup. Definitely another must have!

These simple practices are what I’m currently doing to take care of my skin. Let me know what you do to take care of your skin?

Xoxo, Char
