It’s that time of the year where we get to use our favorites cozy sweaters and coats!(Happy Dance!) When it comes to beauty I learned that what used to work during summer not necessarily will work during winter. For example; I have Combination – Oily skin and that’s why during the Summer I tend to use gel moisturizers because they work great on my skin. But during winter I like to use face oils! And I know you may think, but How a combination to oily skin can use face oils? Well, the thing is that you have to find the right one for your skin type. Is the same as if you were buying a foundation!

TIP 2: Drink more water!
Water is so so so important! When is cold we don’t have that sun and heat that makes us have that thirst we usually have during summer and that’s why sometimes we forget to drink water. To keep our bodies hydrated and feeling good during the winter (and all year) is important to remember that we have to drink water. Your skin will thank you!
TIP 3: Exfoliate
Exfoliation is a must during the cooler months, our skin gets dry because of the weather and heater. Whether you want to use a loofah or sugar to exfoliate is important to eliminate the dead cells so new cells can come and that way our skin looks beautiful and soft. I personally love to use a face brush, works great with my skin.
TIP 4: Moisturize with Oils
As I mention before I love using oils as a moisturizer in cooler months because they help to maintain my skin looking healthy and glowy. Having my skin on point is key for me because I like to use as my everyday makeup a minimal look and during the winter is not an exception. Also I recommend to let the skin breathe, using only moisturizer and rocking your natural beauty is 100% better in the cold season.
TIP 5: Blow-Dry Your Hair!
During the summer I rock my natural hair a lot not only because helps to grow my hair naturally but because is easier to maintain! Nevertheless, during cold weather I find that I save a lot of time If I blow dry my hair. I usually have frizz but when the temperatures are low in a dry weather my hair lasts a long time and with the help of dry shampoo I always have my hair beautiful which makes me look put together and feeling confident!
