“Plus Size Women Can’t Wear Prints.” – A lot of people.
I’ve heard that comment so many times (rolling eyes emoji). I think that’s the main reason why I LOVE breaking ‘body type’ fashion rules. Curvy women should never feel limited when they are choosing what to wear and the reality is that if you want to wear prints you just have to wear them! Weather is a snake print or a floral print what’s important is that you feel comfortable wearing that print, that way you are confident. I personally love leopard print since I was a little girl; I love wearing this print because it makes me feel confident, fabulous and empowered.
Today I wanted to show you how I wear leopard print to prove:
1. You can wear prints being a curvy/plus woman.
2. Is all about confidence.
3. Is all about finding the print that suits your style and personality.
The outfits I’m sharing today are from Yours Clothing, an amazing plus size clothing line from UK that carries sizes from 14 to 30. I love that they have affordable modern fashion which we as curvy gals know sometimes can be difficult to find. The fit in their clothing is perfect, I am a true size US 18 and everything fit me like a glove in size US 18 so if you are going to shop I recoomend you choose your regular size.
Leopard Print in Red
A simple way to rock a print is combining neutrals with a specific color like red! I decided to wear this red leopard print long shirt dress that has the perfect lenght with a black cami and gray jeans with frayed hem, which are neutral colors I wear all the time. A color I wouldn’t use? Brown! Is not a color I love unless is in leopard print, I stay away from that color and wear only colors that go with my style and personality. Since I love red so much I wore a red lip and red booties, they are not only on trend but I feel confident wearing both so is a yay in my book!
Denim on Denim with Leopard!
You can never go wrong wearing denim on denim so I wore this slightly loose cowl leopard print top, with a limited collection distressed denim cropped jeans and a limited collection embroidered denim jacket. Love wearing this look with white sneakers, a classic black belt, and geometric earrings.
Let me know how do you like to wear prints?
