4 Tips to Find the Best Swimsuit for your Body

Hello From Puerto Rico Beauties! I have seen so many rules about finding the perfect swimsuit according to your body type and to be honest I don’t follow most of them because I like to wear what makes me feel confident and that doesn’t necesarilly means following the “rules”. I thought, I can’t be the only one with this “rule issue” that’s why I decided to share a few realistic tips that helped me find swimsuits that work for my body and make me feel good.

1.Know what you need!

Everybody is different so it’s important for you to know what do you want to find in a swimsuit. For example, In my case I know for sure I need support in my chest area because I’m a DD and for me, a swimsuit that doesn’t brings support in that area is a no go. Think, What do you need? Answer that question and you’ll know what to choose more easily.

2.Try them all

I have tried all kinds of swimsuits to know what styles I like. I recommend you to try different styles of swimsuits and be open minded because maybe the one that you think is not going to work for you, end up being the one that you love.

3.Comfort 101

If you are comfortable you’ll look confident. If you try a swimsuit and is cute but is uncomfortable you’ll worry about the swimsuit and that will make you look insecure so I recommend you stay away from those and stick with the swimsuit that is so comfortable that you could live in it!

4.Confidence is the key!

I love to wear a one piece swimsuit like the one I’m wearing or a high rise/high waist bikini because they work for my body and they make me feel comfortable and confident. Confidence will always be the key to rock that swimsuit and I’ve talked about this in a recent post called Glowing Confidence.

¡Saludos desde mi islita Puerto Rico! He visto tantas reglas cuando se trata de encontrar el traje de baño perfecto y para ser honesta no aplico la mayoría de ellas porqueyo me visto para sentirme comoda y segura y no necesariamente eso significa seguir aluna ”regla”. Pensé que no podía ser la única con este “problema” acerca de encontrar el traje de baño ” perfecto ” es por eso que decidí compartir algunos consejos que me ayudaron a encontrar trajes de baño que son favorecedores.

1. Importante…Saber lo que necesitas.

Cada cuerpo es diferente por lo que es importante saber lo que quieres encontrar en un traje de baño. Por ejemplo, en mi caso sé que necesito apoyo en mi zona del pecho porque soy un DD y para mí un traje de baño que no trae apoyo en esa zona es un no-no. Piensa, ¿Qué necesitas? Contesta esa pregunta y sabrás qué elegir más fácilmente.

2. Pruébate todos.

Me he probado todo tipo de trajes de baño para saber qué estilos me gusta. Te recomiendo hacer lo mismo y probar diferentes estilos de trajes de baño. Se “open mind”, porque tal vez el que piensas que no va a trabajar para ti, termina siendo el que amas.

3. Comfort 101

Si te sientes cómoda, te verás confiada y segura. Si intentas usar un traje de baño que es lindo pero es incómodo estarás con preocupación del traje de baño y te hará parecer insegura así que te recomiendo alejarte de ésos y quedarte con el swuimsuit que es tan cómodo que tu vivirias en él.

4. La Seguidad, es la clave.

Me encanta usar un traje de baño de una pieza como el que estoy usando o un bikini de cintura alta, porque trabajan para mi cuerpo y me hacen sentir cómoda y segura. La seguridad será siempre la clave para rockear el traje de baño y hablo mas sobre esto en un post que hice recientemente llamado Glowing Confidence.
